Meta ads objective or goal is the first step in creating an campaign in meta ads, its like settnng your location on your maps pointing towards the destination.. They tell Meta where you want your ad campaign to go and how to get there. Choosing the right objective is super important because it helps Meta show your ads to the people most likely to take the actions you want, like visiting your website or making a purchase.

Think of it like this: if you want to drive more people to your online store, you’d set your GPS to “store.” But if you just want people to know your store exists, you might set it to “general area” so more people in the neighborhood see it.

Meta has six main ad objectives:
